From 2021 - From an interview with Bob Namar by Voyage Austin magazine interviews the founder and operator of e-shop Yestercool.com about the creation and operation of the successful vintage tee design ecommerce site:

The live music capital of the world combined laid-back living with a socially diverse population; a passionate, fashionable community with values and sensibilities of their time. We wanted to create things that would not keep Austin weird but keep its memories and that culture alive.

And because we were sorry that so little remained of those that have been replaced, we wanted to bring back their allure and luster and enhance their memories through designs that would sparkle, shine and instill pride in those who remember them or at least awaken the sensibilities in a new generation of what Old Austin was noted for.

We built Yestercool.com to deliver on that and we brought designers who can create from a similar passion for vintage style Because we know people like cool… today, tomorrow or yesterday. And Yestercool delivers on that.
